Power Whitening

What can I do if I have stained or discolored teeth?

Many people achieve a whiter, brighter smile with our simple whitening procedures. And unlike over the counter products, our prescription level products are designed to treat your teeth and gums gently, while achieving the whitest smile possible.

What do you use to whiten smiles?

If you’re like most of Dr. Winans’ patients, you want a simple yet effective method for whitening your smile. For the ultimate in effectiveness, convenience and comfort, we use ZOOM! 2™, a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure.

A state-of-the-art in-office whitening system, ZOOM! 2, (as seen on ABC’s Extreme Makeover) dramatically whitens your teeth in about one hour, making it the perfect choice for the busy individual.

The procedure is simple. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. Then we’ll apply the ZOOM! 2 Whitening Gel, which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, sometimes more. A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. You'll be amazed with the results. In most cases, teeth get even whiter the first few days after the procedure.

To make the whitening experience even better, Dr. Winans gives all his smile-whitening guests take-home whitening trays and gel. He’ll make an impression of your smile before the in-office process begins, so you’ll have ultimate comfort from trays that were designed to fit your smile.

How long will the results last?

Your bright, new smile should last a very long time, sometimes years before a touch-up is required. The take home kit that is provided with our smile whitening process will give you the freedom and convenience to touch up your smile whenever you wish. Heavy consumption of coffee, tea, colas or other staining agents may accelerate re-staining of your teeth, so you may choose to apply a touch-up application for a session or two.
